Long Exposure Architecture Photography
Long exposure architectural photography focusing in on a variety of traditional, old and modern styles of architecture around the world – from dynamic new skyscrapers and other buildings through to old architectural churches and other iconic buildings and monuments. All of the images have been taken with a range of Hoya neutral density (ND) filters in varying strengths and for a range of exposure-time with some exposures being over 8 minutes. The ability to compress these longer periods of time into a single photograph enables the additional movement of the non-fixed elements to be captured revealing aspects of the scene that we cannot ordinarily see in conjunction with the stability of the architectural structures themselves.

Urban City Nights
Night photography that uses longer exposures to capture the views of a range of urban environments and cities around the world. Once the sun has set the urban environment changes into an electric and dynamic metropolis, where the artificial lights bring an additional layer of energy to the urban landscape. the blend or natural and man-made lights combine to help create some stunning urban cityscapes and reveal an exciting view of towns and cities that are a joy to behold.

Long exposure landscape photography focusing in on a variety of scenes capturing the beauty of the natural world from a variety of locations across the globe. All of the images have been taken with a range of Hoya neutral density (ND) filters in varying strengths and for a range of exposure-time with some exposures being over 10 minutes. The ability to compress these longer periods of time into a single photograph enables the additional movement of certain natural elements to be captured revealing aspects of the scene that we cannot ordinarily see in conjunction with the wonder of the natural environment and landscape.

A selection of long exposure photographs that capture the stars, moon, Milky Way and the night sky. Some images are star trails – which are made up of multiple individual images that are taken in sequence and then layered in postproduction to capture the movement and rotation of the Earth.
